The Battle Rope…

Do you want to add a new dimension to your workout?

I recently tried the battle rope for the first time and WOW. I was a little bit sore the next day. They are a great cardio workout, but it’s great for sculpting your muscles too….

Many will think that a Battle Rope is only great for an upper body workout, but that is definitely not true. You can get an all over body workout, that’s for sure. One that will burn a heap of calories during and after your workout.

This piece of equipment is perfect to use at home or at the park and it’s so easy to set up. Another great thing about the Battle Rope is you can you can train on your own, with a mate, or in a small group.

Although Battle Rope workouts can be pretty intense, they can be toned down to suit any fitness level. Whether you are just starting out with an exercise program, if you are recovering from an injury or you have bone/joint problems, the Battle Rope will benefit you.

Before you start, make sure you anchor your Battle Rope around a pole, tree, fence – somewhere pretty sturdy.  Make sure you get your Battle Rope here

Here is a short video, to demonstrate 12 exercises you can do with a Battle Rope. To get a great all over body workout, do each of these exercises for 45 secs, have a 15 sec rest before moving onto the next exercise. Then do all the exercises for 30 secs with a 30 sec rest after each one. Finish with 10 burpees just for fun 🙂
